Dr Marie Santos is a dedicated and compassionate medical professional with a rich background in General Practice in the Philippines and Australia. Dr Marie embarked on her Medical Journey in the Philippines, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Santo Tomas in 2012. She completed her initial post-graduation training and practiced medicine for almost 6 years before moving to Australia in 2018.
Before joining Canungra Town Medical Centre, Fellowship Support Program, Dr. Marie mostly worked in various Queensland and New South Wales hospitals and gained a broad experience in rural health and emergency medicine. This experience deepened her understanding of the diverse healthcare needs within the community and reinforced her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
Dr Marie loves all aspects of general practice but has a particular interest in Women’s health, Pediatrics, and Mental Health, and loves looking after the whole family. Her goal is to provide comprehensive and personalised care, addressing the unique needs of each individual
